Creative, inventive, courageous and assertive German Cinema is thriving by the work of individuals in the film industry, actresses/ actors, directors, etc. They are providing German movies with character and personality and for that the Portland German Film Festival has established 2 awards for individuals in the film industry.
LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
The selection criteria states that “the recipient should be one whose talent has in a fundamental way advanced the film art; whose accomplishment has been acknowledged by scholars, critics, professional peers and the general public; and whose work has stood the test of time.”
