In the 1920s, two German brothers Adi and Rudi Dassler, launch a sports shoe company but grow steadily farther apart. With the rise of the Nazi regime, the siblings become rivals,each founding his own, competing sneaker company — Adidas and Puma.

RIVALS FOREVER is inspired by true events and tells the exciting story behind the global brands Adidas and Puma,one of the greatest success stories of German industry, set against the backdrop of the rising Nazi regime. At the same time, RIVALS FOREVER also is a gripping and dramatic family saga, full of love, friendship, mistrust and intrigue and who casts a light on the beginning women’s movement. Realized in a contemporary and authentic cinematic language, this thrilling event mini-series is coming from the producers of Academy Award® winner “The Lives of Others”.
