After two extremely successful years at the Northwest Film Forum, KINOFEST Seattle 2018 will now move to the SIFF Film Center (305 Harrison St, Seattle, WA 98109). Thank you to everybody at the NWFF!
Our 3rd annual KINOFEST Seattle will be October 19-21, 2018.
Our annual festival showcases feature films, documentaries and short films that represent the state-of-the-art in German language film making, including films from Germany, Austria and Switzerland to give our audience the chance to experience the diversity, history and progress of German-speaking countries in Europe. All films are shown in German with English subtitles to allow a broad audience access to these German-language movies.
SIFF Film Center is a state-of-the-art jewelbox cinema, with seats rescued from the balcony of Seattle’s Cinerama Theatre. Programming at the Film Center focuses on boutique arthouse hits, repertory runs, National Theater Live, SIFF Education, French Truly, and more.
