Directed by Wolfgang Groos (2013) – 98 minutes
The ambitious punk rocker Max (Tim Oliver Schultz) and the eco-activist Inge (Paula Kalenberg) cannot stand each other, ever since Max publicly exposed her by singing the offensive song “When Inge is Dancing” in front of the whole school. The song becomes a local hit for Max and his band and they’re on the verge of a breakthrough. But just before an important gig, their guitarist Josha is injured and can’t play. It just so happens that Inge is an excellent guitarist and the only person who can fill in at such short notice. But when Max asks for her help, she imposes one non-negotiable condition: no more “When Inge is Dancing”. Is Max willing to pay this price?
Closing remarks by Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany Stefan Schlüter
